Migrate all btcd dependencies to the new per-package v2 modules (wire/v2,
txscript/v2, chaincfg/v2, chainhash/v2, btcutil/v2, psbt/v2, btcec/v2)
introduced by btcd v0.26.0, and pin the tagged ecosystem versions:
btcwallet v0.17.0, neutrino v0.18.0 and lightning-onion v1.4.0.
The bulk of the import rewrite was produced by the scripted diff from
https://github.com/btcsuite/btcd/pull/2547 (followed by 'make rpc'). The
address symbols that moved out of btcutil into the new address package
are imported as btcaddr where a local "address" variable would otherwise
shadow them. The go.mod/go.sum updates and the remaining manual
compilation fixes are folded into this single commit so it builds on its
own (the migration was previously split into a reproducible scripted-diff
plus follow-ups, intended to be squashed on merge).
Reject incoming OpenChannel messages where push_msat exceeds
1000 * funding_satoshis, as required by BOLT-02. The existing RejectPush
flag only gates on push_msat > 0 and does not cover the spec bound.
An over-sized push is eventually caught downstream in reservation.go when
theirBalance = capacity - fee - push_msat goes negative and
ErrFunderBalanceDust is returned. Rejecting it up front produces a
clearer, spec-aligned error and avoids the chanacceptor and commitment
type negotiation round-trips for a channel we will refuse anyway.
This commit was previously split into the following parts to ease
review:
- 2d746f68: replace imports
- 4008f0fd: use ecdsa.Signature
- 849e33d1: remove btcec.S256()
- b8f6ebbd: use v2 library correctly
- fa80bca9: bump go modules
This is necessary and is implied by BOLT#02. Both ChannelReserve
parameters should be above both DustLimit parameters. Otherwise,
it is possible for one side to have nothing at stake.
- let users specify their MAXIMUM WUMBO with new config option which sets the maximum channel size lnd will accept
- current implementation is a simple check by the fundingManager rather than anything to do with the ChannelAcceptor
- Add test cases which verify that maximum channel limit is respected for wumbo/non-wumbo channels
- use --maxchansize 0 value to distinguish set/unset config. If user sets max value to 0 it will not do anything as 0 is currently used to indicate to the funding manager that the limit should not be enforced. This seems justifiable since --maxchansize=0 doesn't seem to make sense at first glance.
- add integration test case to ensure that config parsing and valiation is proper. I simplified the funding managers check electing to rely on config.go to correctly parse and set up either i) non wumbo default limit of 0.16 BTC OR ii) wumbo default soft limit of 10 BTC

This reverts commit 4aa52d267f.
It turns out that the other implementations set values for this field
which aren't based on the actual capacity of the channel. As a result,
we'll no reject most of their channel offerings, since they may offer a
value of a max `uint64` or something else hard coded that's above the
size of the channel. As a result, we're reverting this check for now to
maintain proper compatibility.
In this commit we add a new command line option (and a sane default) to
allow users to specify the *smallest* inbound channel that they'll
accept. Having a higher-ish limit lets users limit their channels, and
also avoid a series of very low value "spam" channels.
The new option is --minchansize, and expressed in satoshis. If we
receive an inbound channel request for a value smaller than this, then
we'll immediately reject it.
