SerializeToVector, UnserializeFromVector, DeserializeHDKeypaths, and SerializeHDKeypaths
were in sign.h where PSBT was originally implemented. Since all of the PSBT serialization
has moved to its own file, these functions should follow.
This forward-ports the new Taproot sighash but does not fix a couple
22-blocked TODOs related to the MissingDataBehavior enum. Should be fixed
in a followup commit.
One nontrivial change I had to make was feeding the genesis hash to SignTransaction
(the "global" one in script/sign.cpp) so that it could correctly compute
the sighash at signing time.
Surprisingly easy to do. Almost all of the diff resolution was mechanically
* replacing boost::variant with std::variant
* replacing Optional with std::optional
* then replacing `nullopt` with `std::nullopt`
* updating the RPC functions for the new RPCArg::Default type
* update the tests/ directory to make new (since 22) tests use arrays for
createrawtransaction outputs
* other ad-hoc changes to function parameters etc (not too many of these)
I had to "really" change the code in PrecomputePSBTData, which was introduced
in 22.0 and affected by PSET, but this function was like 8 lines long so it
was easy.
Reviewing the diff may be a bit difficult because of the mix of mechanical
changes and ad-hoc things. Probably the most straightforward thing to do
is to redo the merge, `sed -i` to fix the boost::variant and Optional stuff,
then diff the remaining conflicts against this commit.
TODO: grep for `blindpsbt` and you will see that this RPC is still referenced
in documentation and help text even though it was deleted. Need to fix this
in 0.21 in a separate PR.
This introduces Taproot wallet support. I fixed all the merge conflicts
and ensured that the tests pass, but this is still using the old sighash
(before Russell/Sanket/I redid it) so is not actually production ready.
Will be fixed when we bring Elements #1002 in.

This provides a means to pass in a PrecomputedTransactionData object to
the MutableTransactionSignatureCreator, allowing the prevout data to be
passed into the signature hashers. It is also more efficient.
Several conflicts in the C++ code related to the new `flags` parameter
to `CheckSignature` and the corresponding function being renamed upstream
to `CheckSignatureECDSA`.
Several conflicts in the test harness as Steven sorta pulled the new
upstream ECKey module into the Python code, and the actual upstream
code was slightly different. Also needed to update the feature_taproot
code to always use the non-RANGEPROOF sighash since dynafed is not
enabled in the Taproot test.
Also had to pull the `set_wif` method out of `ECKey` and inline it because
otherwise it triggers a "circular inclusion" error between script.py (which
would pull in `base58_to_bytes` from address.py) and address.py (which now
pulls in some taproot EC related stuff from script.py).
Noticed that #960 does not test the "sighash rangeproof flag set but no
witnesses" case.
I really like this PR, but it wound up being pretty nontrivial to merge.
The crux is that it pulls PSBT signing logic into scriptpubkey manager,
which is where it belongs, but for us this means reasoning about pegins
inside script/sign.cpp.
However, sign.cpp is part of libbitcoin_common, which does not include
anything for reasoning about PoW or RPC (lol) or anything heavy about
that. This means that some pegin validation had to remain split between
the wallet/rpc layer and sign.cpp. I added a new file script/pegins.cpp
which has the (one) method we actually need in sign.cpp.
Aside from that, this diff is very large but is mostly just moving our
code changes to wallet/psbtwallet.* into wallet/wallet.* where those
functions now live. As far as review, it's probably not worthwhile to
spend too much too much time on this since it's going to be change
again in #16528 and others. The test coverage is pretty extensive.
This enables the schnorrsig module in libsecp256k1, adds the relevant types
and functions to src/pubkey, as well as in higher-level `SignatureChecker`
classes. The (verification side of the) BIP340 test vectors is also added.
Moves all of the various SigningProviders out of sign.{cpp,h} and
keystore.{cpp,h}. As such, keystore.{cpp,h} is also removed.
Includes and the Makefile are updated to reflect this. Includes were largely
changed using:

This is not a pure refactor; additional functionality is added in
IsSegWitOutput which lets it recurse into P2SH when a
SigningProvider is provided that knows about the inner script.

This PR adds 3 new utility RPCs for interacting with PSBTs.
`utxoupdatepsbt` updates a PSBT with UTXO information from the node. It only works with witness UTXOs because full transactions (as would be needed for non-witness UTXOs) are not available unless txindex is enabled.
`joinpsbts` joins the inputs from multiple distinct PSBTs into one PSBT. e.g. if PSBT 1 has inputs 1 and 2, and PSBT 2 has inputs 3 and 4, `joinpsbts` would create a new PSBT with inputs 1, 2, 3, and 4.
`analyzepsbt` analyzes a PSBT and determines the current state of it and all of its inputs, and the next step that needs to be done.

When signing an input, figure out what was requested for but was unable
to be found and store it in a SignatureData.
Return this information in SignPSBTInput.
Store the master key fingerprint and derivation path in the
key metadata. hdKeypath is kept to indicate the seed and for
backwards compatibility, but all key derivation path output
uses the key origin info instead of hdKeypath.
Move non-wallet PSBT code to src/psbt.{h,cpp}, and PSBT wallet code to
src/wallet/psbtwallet.{h,cpp}. This commit contains only code movement (and
adjustments to includes and Makefile.am.)
